(The two known versions of the Empire of Avalon Crest) THE EMPIRE OF AVALON The Empire of Avalon consists of several kingdoms, estates, baronies, and other settlements of civilized peoples who joined in an alliance that would assure the protection of the populace of their lands. The formation of the Empire helped to insure trade, protection, communication, and growth. In newly settled areas, the Empire will dispatch one or more Knights to cultivate the land, provide protection to the existing inhabitants, build shelters, wood mills, etc. and to generally expand the frontier of the lands for pioneers. The Knights are chosen from surrounding lands that have previously joined the Empire. |
