HISTORY OF THE EVERGLADE VALE Two years ago, a great plague swept through the southern parts of the Empire, as well as the Kingdom of Keldesca. It consumed the lives of many citizens and it appeared that there was no cure. Eventually, the scholars at the Imperial Library discovered what seemed to be a reference to a very similar disease. As they researched these findings, they determined that a colony of people had been stricken with the disease and had created a cure. With high hopes, representatives were sent from the Empire and the Kingdom of Keldesca to gather adventurers to journey into the region and find the cure. After many trials, the adventurers pieced together the recipe for the cure and helped the Empire and Keldesca find the main ingredient, a rare plant that grew solely in the vale. Soon after, the cure spread wide and far to help those who suffered from the plague. The Kingdom and the Empire have joined to settle this region while the negotiations of Keldesca's possible induction into the Empire continue. It is hoped that this Vale will become a part of the Empire, as well as Keldesca. HERALDRY OF THE VALE
