THE KINGDOM OF KELDESCA The Kingdom of Keldesca was founded by fishermen just under two centuries ago. The main trade is Moonbass, a large iridescent scaled fish that is a rare delicacy. The Moonbass are only found in the Crystal and Moon Lakes that exist within the boundaries of the Kingdom. Keldesca has been under attack for many years by Ogres, Minotaurs, and the Goblinoid races. These evil creatures have been seeking a way to drive the humans out so that they might control the Moonbass trade. It is well known that non-human races are not welcome in Keldesca. It is said that all non-humans within Keldesca are slaves; they have no rights, no property, and no freedom. Most Keldescans despise all non-humans and find it hard to tolerate their presence. At this time, the Kingdom is in negotiations to become a part of the Empire of Avalon. Keldesca needs the additional revenue and protection that the Empire can offer. One of the main deterrents to the treaty is the Empire's objection to the way Keldescans treat non-human races. HERELDRY OF KELDESCA
