The Kingdom of Aeran'or, as seen through the eyes of Lady Tenshi Ryu Toshori of the Empire of Ellentari
A request has been made for details of the
Kingdom known as Aeran'or, and though I do not hail from these fair lands I
have attempted to put together a brief synopsis of the Kingdom from my point
of view. I encourage any who wish to learn more to travel here
personally to discover more, as this document will be soon outdated if I
were to give too many details.
The Kingdom of Aeran'or is located at the
Northwest corner of Avendale. The reigning monarch is Dame Katherine
Moore, Queen of Aeran'or, who was crowned by her people recently after
the defeat of the forces of the Liche King, Aristides. This Liche had
enslaved the peoples of this fair land for quite some time, and through
various heroic deeds of the people of Aeran'or, the people were liberated from
his control.
As a traveler visiting the lands of Aeran'or,
you might find yourself at Gathers in several places.
Freeton, where I have been told was at one
time the Liche's City known as Kira-Dul, is currently run by the
scavengers of various types who decided upon their liberation to create a
home for themselves.
The towns of Ebonvale and Bluebrook are two
other places you might find yourself, which for the most part are run by
humans. The guild system here makes a very strong presence in
daily life and in many cases the Journeymen and Guildmasters take the place of
Nobles when none are immediately present.
The Capital of the Kingdom of Aeran'or is
called Crimson Springs and is where the Queen holds her Court. This is
located in the heart of the Kingdom.
There is a Lake of Mists to the North of the
Capital which has some mystery to it, but I have not yet researched this topic
further. I am told there is a barbarian tribe to the north as well as a
wild elven population, and I have seen a few dwarves who are from the land as
well.
Travelers from other Kingdoms such as
Evendarr are advised that the laws in Aeran'or are very similar to those
upheld in Evendarr. Any traveling nobles who wish to be recognized
should follow proper protocols and present themselves to the nobility of
Aeran'or for recognition.
On this date, the 12th Day of November, year
603 ER.
