The Kingdoms of Kincora, Aldran And Orakken

No Map Known to Exist

(The following document was copied from the Royal Library of Evendarr April 603 E.R.)

Kincora was once the capital of the proud Empire of Gallatae, the ruins of which stretch along the northern borders of Ravenholt and Volta. Until recently, the only remnants of Kincora's existence were footnotes within the dusty tomes of the Quentari archives.

Several years ago the ruins of Kincora mysteriously reappeared in the wilds north of Evendarr. The Hart's Rest was established by Sir Jason Eindrake, a Royal Knight of Evendarr, as a safe haven for those exploring the ruins; and to protect the growing trade routes between Evendarr and lands to its north. Those adventurers that flocked to the area in search of treasure began to report strange shifts in time that brought the ruins back to life, complete with its inhabitants only to return again to desolate ruins.

The one time outpost has grown to the size of a small thriving town under the control of the Evendarrian Mercantile Guild known as House Monet.

The lands surrounding the outpost have also gained in status with the influx of adventures, explorers, and the merchants that seem to materialize around those seeking their fortunes. The newcomers have joined with several of the native tribes within the area to form a Duchy of Evendarr.

Duke Jason now rules Kincora from afar, working in the political circles of the court of King Mykel Endarr II to further the cause of Kincora.

The Duchy of Kincora faces many that oppose its continued growth.

The spectral remains of the former empire haunt the land, and the curse that brought down the once mighty Gallataen Empire has begun to work against the fledgling duchy.

Kincora also faces more mundane threats in bandits and hostile creatures that frequent the wilds north of civilized Evendarr.
