I don't know what the group of undead elves we encountered were called. From what I heard, though, they were part of the same backfired ritual that turned Duke Valerian into the Hunter. Apparently the only way to destroy them was to destroy their banner so that they wouldn't be able to come back any more. As long as their banner was still up, they could keep coming back as much as they wanted. I believe we destroyed many of them, but the Black Ram is still at large.
Also, destroying their banners caused us some degree of trouble, because anyone
who destroyed the banners was inflicted with some form of curse. Guildmaster
Andvar and Telaris were both affected with a curse that would make them berserk
against undead. I believe Guildmaster Andvar did several of these rituals and
contracted more curses, but I don't know anything else about that. Supposedly
the curses went away after 24 hours, so by now they should be fine.
I was on a mission early in the gather where we learned that the Moraquendi
were planning to assault the town at some point. One of the Moraquendi leaders
was specifically planning this, but unfortunately I do not recall his name right
now. I think it had the word "rock" in it, but am not sure. We also
learned that the Moraquendi were holding prisoners. I do not know if any attempt
was ever made to rescue them.
The Dark Fae that were corrupting the forest were able to become part of the
trees in order to avoid harm as well as corrupt the tree. However, Squire Cormack
realized that one could disarm them from the tree with a simple disarm spell
and that would take care of the problem.
Someone who once knew Garrion arrived in town, now a Death Knight. We captured
him several times and imprisoned him, but we were not able to DFM him to remove
the Death Knight part of him. If anyone knows more about this, please clarify
it, because I am a bit hazy on the details.
The dark goblins were nasty, but at times amusing. They were rather stupid and
relatively easy to take down, from what I saw.
The fae ball was fun during the brief time I was there, but the fae dances seemed
very complicated to me.
I spoke to the Satyr named Bakai for a little while, along with Enekiel, Sir
Celdric, and Baroness Kittery. When I was talking to him, he didn't seem lustful
at all, but rather philosophical. We engaged in a good discussion about what
the nature of poverty was.
From what I understand about Gormann Kane, he threatened to turn the Silvermyst
Forest into a desert. He is extremely powerful, and apparently in his mind the
chaos element has risen to power to the exclusion of all else. Within a couple
months, he may be completely insane. Morris could tell you more about this,
though, as I know little else. Near the end of the gather, there was a powerful
being that appeared in town and took on the Queen of the Silvermyst in combat.
We all rushed to the Queen's aid, but the being was absurdly powerful. He released
a wave of arcane fear that covered a 20 foot radius around him, and sent most
of the adventurers running. Only the elves and biata, who were able to resist
it, were able to stand and fight him. I believe that he and the Queen of the
Silvermyst ended up destroying each other in combat. From what I understand,
though, there is a possibility that there is more where he came from.
That is about all I know for now. I will post anything else if I think of it.
I would encourage others to post any information they might have that I don't.
There was a lot that went on and it was very hard to keep track of.
